You’re invited to an educational session with a round table discussion about Adverse Childhood Experiences.
Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are serious childhood traumas that result in toxic stress that can harm a child’s brain. Frequent or prolonged exposure to ACEs can damage the developing brain of a child and affect overall health.
The round table discussion will focus on how exposure to childhood ACEs can increase the risk of the following health
priorities: smoking, illicit drug use and mental health.
Sponsored by Health People Wood County and Tobacco Free Coalition of Central Wisconsin (Marathon-Portage-Wood)
